Long night!

Well, last night was not so fun. Maggie slept all night... woohoo! Too bad Micah didn't! He was up until after 6am in pain. He said his ear and stomach hurt. He was crying a lot. I gave him some Tylenol and it seemed to help. He said he was too sick to go to school. He did go today though and did just fine. He is supposed to go backpacking with Dan and Grandpa this weekend so we'll see. He is going to the doctor in the morning to make sure he doesn't have an ear infection.

Today Maelea had her 2 year check-up. Poor kid. She already has that giardia and has to take some terrible tasting medicine for that plus she has an ear infection that I didn't even know about and also needs breathing treatments for her breathing. She also had a shot as well as a toe poke to check her lead level. They check all kids now not just because of old houses but because of the toys and stuff that have been found to have high lead levels. Maelea is otherwise healthy though! Really, I think it's just a fluke she has all of this at once. She is a tough girl! Maggie has her 2 month check-up tomorrow. We are frequent fly-ers at our pediatrician's office. :)
